Hello and welcome to The Shepherd's Diary. My name is Jon Monks and I'm a full time hill shepherd, married with one daughter and a son. I have lived and worked in Northumberland for ten years. Coquetdale is such a beautiful area and I'm the lucky one who gets to see the misty mornings and brilliant sunsets, it's the best office in the country, with a view to die for !.
